In this chorus of angels, we can hear Handel's ability to use music to tell a story. The majesty of the Heavenly Host is clear, and the word "highest" takes on musical meaning. But it is also clear that the "peace" will come down to the earth. At the end of this chorus, the dispersal of the angels is a wonderful musical moment.
